2008 Proprietary Red Wine Napa Valley

Chocolate, coffee, fruit paste, and blueberry pie spiced with nutmeg; earthy essences of cedar, pine, ash, fresh-cut grass, and dry leaf; a hint of red meat.

Grapes sourced from three different vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon from the Peter Newton Vineyard on Spring Mountain, Syrah from our own Los Olivos Vineyard in Jamieson Canyon, and Merlot from the Vidal Vineyard in Napa.

Tasting Notes

Velvety entrance bursting into a lush expression of blueberry, black cherry, and black currant, imbued with traces of lavender and violet and lingering on soft, ripe tannins and cigar.
