2013 Parr Chardonnay

This Chardonnay is sourced in Knights Valley AVA in Sonoma County. This growing region is just 10 minutes north of Calistoga, and unlike Calistoga, is considered a great area for growing cool climate grapes such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Maldonado Family oversee's the growing of the Parr Vineyard and then purchases a few tons of fruit to produce this award winning wine.

Tasting Notes

Bright and clean with aromas of green fig, vanilla, creamy caramel, plantain and soft pear. Tantalizing flavors of fresh tropical fruit ease into apricot, pear, creamy meyer lemon and hints of spice. Opulent with a funnel of citrus and barrel spice on the finish.
